| When: Some Feb 18th Where: Stonewall MS, its just south of Merdian, which is east of Jackson if you are looking for it on a map, a few of us have been here before and its a pretty nice field Cost: $10 From the looks of it they are trying something different this year, they are taking a more fun approach than a milsim. Hopefully it ends up being a really cool game. Ill link the forum thread and also the discussion thread where they are letting people make suggestions and give feedback. | Might wana check that, they got you on the Nomad leadership(camo colors), in any case I'm signed up nomad so that I can use my BDU to run in my normal fashion.
I'll be running the tanaka, I wont be sniping, I'll be running second line support like I did with the scar over the summer. Should be interesting to see how this runs.

| To make sides even there is only 7 more slots on the NOMAD list until the APACHE list catches up. So if you are wanting to come and play with the rest of MS-TAC make sure you sign up quick. Otherwise, you will have to wait and see if they reopen the NOMAD side or join the apaches.
MS-TAC that are currently signed up(to my knowledge):
Ben(I signed you up) Evan(I signed you up) Victor Hunter Me

| So it looks like we are going to have a good roster of MS-tac going, but what kind of loadout is everyone going to run? We should probably give gene a good idea of what he will have to work with as far as our capabilities will be concerned. I'm about to be finished with my tanaka build tomorrow, and after I am done tuning the air rig and other various hammers and valves in it, I should be running a decently ranged sniper. Along with the mac-11 for my backup weapon. It is however 5 feet long and 12 pounds, so its not going to be as easy for me to be as stealthy as gene and ben, it should however make no noise whatsoever when set properly. | |

| Joseph I added you to the roster, but for the time being there is a waiting list for the nomads. They are trying to even up the teams so Nomads is locked until the apaches catch up. Right now they caught up 28 to 30 so it should open up soon. There are 4 people ahead of you on the waiting list. Shouldn't be a problem though. | |

| They asked a 5man team to switch sides to even it up and so everyone that was on the waiting list is now on the team. It is now 37 apaches and 31 Nomads and 13 Control(will mainly be admins and refs and such). So lets get a few more! | |

| Alright, as hunter has said it would be good to know what each person plans on bringing(assult rifle, sniper, etc...) and what kinda fighting you would like to do(Offensive Center of Action, Defense, Recon, Offensive Flanking Team etc...), so we can make some fire teams and squads and stuff. I am getting with the coast group as well to get this intel( as our team right now is perdominately MS-TAC and the coast group). We will have an ACV so we will need a team to defend/ride it. Also, I am open to some suggestions for attacking and ACV as the other team will have one as well. Paintballs have been ruled out. There will be a CONTROL member watching the tank to try and call its hits, but they are asking that anything that is suppose to take out the tank leave a mark on it(flower, chalk, something). Suggestions.... I believe we will have at least one rocket launcher. | |

| Dumb question. The fps limit is for riflemen is 400 fps with .25's I don't have a gun that shoots below that limit (the aug is still down for maintenance) so if necessary could i use a club gun? or is there anyway to just be restricted to semi auto?
Edit: by using an online fps calculator I found the dmr should be shooting around 404 fps. Do you think it would be allowed?

| If its that close they will prob let you in. But I would bring a club gun just in case. Also, you could use .25s at a game between now and then and chrono it on the clubs chrono to get your actual reading. | |
