| If you're not familiar with it, it's like Warhammer 40k but a bit less expensive.
Anyway me and a few others just grabbed a battlegroup box set each and are going to start playing. If there's anyone else out there interested, let me know.
Oh and in case you still aren't sure what it is, it's tabletop wargaming. Kind of like a turn based RTS.

| I like the look of the Cyrax armies. Reminds me of my Nurgle army from 40k. | |

| Saw some of the Khador Warjacks. They would look awesome in an Iron Warriors color scheme! I've got some Boltgun Grey and Bad Moon Yellow lying around here somewhere. | |

| I played a 35 point Cryx army with Victor, Tyson, and some others last weekend. The Deathjack was cool and all but 12 points is alot. Also Cryx seems to lack shooty units. I'm probably going to go Khador. Current strategy of mine is get a couple of Kodiaks and some Decimators to start off. Kodiaks run in (no focus cost btw + pathfinder) smack you with both claws and get a free throw if both attacks connect. Now that you are down on the ground I get my Decimators to pummel you while your defense is 4. Yep, probably going Khador. Planning on decking them out in an Iron Warriors paint scheme (Boltgun metal, bad moon yellow, and chaos black) since I've got some of that paint lying around from my 40k days. Can't wait for the Man-o-war units with the grenade launchers and chainblades to come out. Is it okay for me to rip my warcaster's heads off and give them helmets? I have this weird thing about having all of my units with concealed faces. tl;dr I'm going Khador and gonna rock the house for THE MOTHERLAND!!! | |

| absolutely nothing wrong with taking heads off to replace with helmets, so long as its obvious who they are. | |

| Also. I'll be buying some Legion of Everblight on the 30th (or VERY shortly thereafter) when I get paid. If you want free shipping, let me know and we'll work something out. | |

my original build had 13 of them in it, plus a carnivian (and ofc the warlock). new build has 7 or 8 depending on how many solos i include. They're still ferocious little bundles of joy that just love to gang bang heavy jacks with 4d6 charge rolls

| Don't forget about the fury mechanic and how much you'll actually be able to boost at a time. | |

The entire point behind my army is that I CAN get away with half of my beasts berzerking each round

| So, I finally got the chance to make my Warmachine order today. I ordered the starter Khador box, a 6-man Winterguard unit (with a standard-bearer/officer attachment), an extra caster, a Mechanik unit, a field gun, a Drakhun (the Khador mounted solo) and a Devastator (AKA, "Tank-All-Under-26-Damage-rolls-guy"). That's just my first order. I'll be ordering some more WinterGuard enhancements, a Kommando detail and a few more 'jacks as soon as I get the ball rolling on work hours. I'll be packing a sizable army before long. Gonna take forever to paint, though..... | |

| Got my models in today. I'll have some pictures up once they get painted.
Also, for those looking to play Khador, but are unsure due to the lack of arc nodes....we DO have arc nodes. Our primary spell is called "Axe to the Face". All of our Juggernauts, Destroyers, Berserkers, and even some character 'jacks serve as arc nodes for "Axe to the Face".
