Noob Day 2011

Noob day is going to be the last weekend of our Spring Break, March 19th. I'm thinking the plan will be similar to last year but the only way we can go is if we can get some noobs interested. We'll drive up Friday and stay someplace, get up and go play, stay someplace after the game, then drive back Sunday.

Requirements can be found on the site. This game will not cost anything directly, but since we're driving to Tennessee, that'll cost something. We'll figure that out as time gets closer.

We will be carpooling.

I'm in favor of us actually renting a room or rooms someplace and splitting it however we can so we don't have to go driving out into the middle of no where and don't have to sleep on the cold ground.

Last year there were over 700 people there. It's a great experience and there were very few "pros" and lots of targets. Great game for all ages.


If you're interested mention something here so we can start figuring out logistics of traveling up there. We'd like to know by March 12th if at all possible.

I will be bringing at least one friend with me for this one. This year I promise field wipes every 10 minutes at the least. Unfortunately, it looks like they are going to lock you out of using a gun after a few plays with bad karma, so this may or may not be one of the last times I get to spread as much carnage as I do

(in reality, I will always find a way to gun noobs down like a valentines day massacre, it just wouldn't be right without it)

Yea for the vets here we can only go to this one and maybe the next one and expect to shoot anyone.

I'm up for going. I should have all my gear together by then. I've got a robotics tournament the 17th and 18th though. What time are we planning on leaving Friday?

Pretty early. Probably after lunch. We'll be having a meeting to cover that though.

Speaking of meeting, that needs to be this week.

There's an FPS limit. Check the website.

Ill be missing this one guys. I have so much going on in my life right now that i cant find time for airsoft. I wish i could but between drill, wedding planning, going to peoples weddings, homework, and a mess of other stuff i just have to miss it. i hope you all have fun.
