I tried to get it off but it has a tiny pin going through the outer barrel. I currently do not have a punch small enough to get it out. Before I go any further do you care if I break the orange flash hider?
I do not care if the flash hider itself is broken, no.

Well, I got good news. I managed to cut the flash hider in half and break it free of the set screw. Then I pulled the set screw. The threads are un-damaged, as I've tested it with my own silencer. It's good now.
