| Making a logo for the patch slash website slash t-shirt. Here is a sheet of ideas along with the template that I used to make them. Print it out. Color it. Blow it up and stick it on a t-shirt. Let me know which one is your favorite. We will go left to right, top to bottom, A-Z. I was thinking that MS would go in one corner or block or space and then T A C would go in the other three. That is just me. If you have any requests I'll take those and run with it. | |

| I like the bottom left one the most. Maybe it could be "MS" on the top segment and "TAC" on the bottom. Or it could just have "MS-TAC" on the top | |

| All right looks like we are getting somewhere. Here is the latest revisions and a selections of fonts that I thought might go well. I've got the large font on the left and the small on the right. The large has all caps the small has some lower case letters if the font accepts them. Most of these fonts are free, but if we find one we like we have to get permission from the creator, which shouldn't be hard at all. Most guys want their fonts to be used, they just want to know when they are being used. I've numbered the fonts so if you could pick out your favorite large and small fonts and let me know. I've got my own opinions but this logo is not just for me. | |

| Hmmm. 3 or 7 but leaning towards 7. It is bold enough to be easily read from at least arms length.
Print them life size and in color, cut it out and pin it to some camo, then back off from them a few feet. What looks good on white paper may not show well on a dark background. Looks good, very nice

| SO it looks like 2,3, and 7 I couldn't get 3 to work unfortunately because it was a random string of symbols except for MS-TAC so you're getting 2 and 7 for now. My big concern is with the legibility at a distance. MS-TAC is always pretty visable but the words around the circle are iffy. We might have to find another font for those. Also the logo started looking kind of like a lifesaver to me so I made two newer itterations for your looking pleasure. The grey was also not working so I changed it to black. All the dark colors were not really working with the text so now it is white. Enjoy. Let me know what you think and what changes need to be made. | |

| I am a Graphic artist for a news paper, you have 1 chance to catch some ones attention, then they look closer.
You have to look at it from the perspective of someone who has never seen the design before
If it is too hard to read, they will move on and not look back.
We have some customers that want a frilly, elegant calligraphy font, that looks good by itself, and they know what it is supposed to say, but when you put it in with other text, it gets confusing, and people invariably ignore the ad after trying to decipher the heading.
The rules, simple, neat, and easy to read.

| Very true. It is good to have a graphic designer look at this stuff. One thing that bothers me is the Stencil font. The font is great for large letters and short words, but as soon as you make it small it gets impossibly hard to read from any sort of distance. Compound that with putting the font on a curve and you won't be able to read it unless you turn your head to the side and squint. The font is free and readily accessible so I think it would be great to use with the title (MS-TAC) but we've got to do something about the smaller text on the sides and bottom of the wheel. Either increase the spacing or change the font or increase the size. All this is just my opinion and the logo is not mine it is going to be the clubs so don't take me too seriously. Oh and if you could bump down the intensity of that green a few notches i think it would look a little more OD. | |

| I just did it quick & dirty before i went to bed last night , took me all of 5 minutes, and i was not picky about the color i was just trying to convey the od green feel. and i was going with the most visible font we had to choose from of the ones offered. try helvetica black as the font for the sides, it is big and bold. and preloaded in most computers. for free fonts you may try http://cooltext.com/Ian | |
