| I am currently active as a patrol leader in my Boyscout Unit, and have been assigned the task of bringing new events to our troop calender. I am very pleased by the club's organization of our games so far; so I am here to gather information about a possible airsoft event for my Boyscout Troop; hosted by MS-TAC. For starters would the team host a small event with rental guns, gear, and a basic rundown of the rules of airsoft? | |

| I know we've looked into something similar in the past. How large is the troop and what age group? | |

| Please check with your council because with the council i'm from airsoft or paintball are not allowed for a function due to scouting's insurance. I hope your council is cooler than mine because it would be loads of fun. | |

| As Ellis said, most councils ban airsoft for fundamentalist / conservative reasons. If you can get their permission, call it an "exercise of firearm safety". | |

| I have discussed the subject with my scoutmaster and it is going to be brought up in the next council meeting. The chances are looking good; but if the answer is no, then I could just personally invite the troop members. P.S. the ages would be 13-16 y/o | |

P.S. the ages would be 13-16 y/o If you feel like enhancing our position you can mention that the event is being run by an Eagle Scout and that several other eagle scouts will be playing. | |
